Verizon slashed price of their HTC ThunderBolt battery to $19.99! It’s a 50% off deal that those hardcore phone users should take advantage of. Even though battery life of the 4G LTE Thunderbolt, is not that good, at least there users will have an alternative to get you by throughout the day.

Of course, you can charge the handset when the battery runs out of power however, but with this offer, i bet a lot of users will just settle in getting a replacement for it’s inexpensive. Verizon is currently selling the official OEM battery replacement for the HTC ThunderBolt for only $19.99, which is half the cost from its original $39.99 pricing. Although it shows that it’s priced at $39.99, you simply need it add it to your cart in order to get it down to $19.99.

Wirefly, an online retailer has started taking pre-orders on the Thunderbolt and will start shipping it on the 17th of March. It’s quite disapponting that Verizon has no yet announced its official launch date of the HTC Thunderbolt, although we are keeping our hopes up that it will be later today.

The HTC Thunderbolt is the first ever smart phone that will utilize the Verizon’s fastest network. It features a 4.3 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, an 8 megapixel back facing camera, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video conferencing, a WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, dual microphones, a compass, microUSB port and an FM Radio.

It’s good to know that Best Buy is getting accessories for the HTC Thunderbolt despite the fact that they wont be getting the exclusive rights on the HTC Thunderbolt. Got this information from a photo leak from Droid Life showing that Best Buy will hold the Thunderbolt accessories and the stocks are going to be available on February 19th.

Just so you know, the Thunderbolt might be released on Valentines Day.

Android Central has released another leaked information about the much awaited HTC Thunderbolt. This time, it’s about its MAP pricing. It seems that the phone would not cost the usual $199, for it will be priced at $250 instead. Check out the image above.

According to Phandroid, the HTC Thunderbolt will be leaunched on February 14. Hmmm, seems to be a nice marketing strategy, for its Valentines Day and its like provoking consumers to buy this as a Valentines gift. However, i am not sure if this is just another rumor, since HTC has not confirmed its release but we’re still hoping that it’s true, though.

Well, just so you know, i happened to bump into this site which seems to be in the works and noticed something. It has a banner ad confirming that HTC Thunderbolt is going to be the official name for the HTC Mecha. Verizon is set to showcase all its 4G phones at CES 2011, and it seems that this Thunderbolt is gonna be part of it. Not sure though, if our observation is right, but i have a feeling that it is.

The banner ad looks similar to HTC’s “First to 4G, again” mobile page. When you click on it, it will take you to a broken page, but the page’s URL speaks for itself: http://www.htc.com/4G?extcid=Thunderbolt-4G-Disp.
