The Samsung Fascinate is already retired from the Verizon’s lineup, as it now has a “Retired” stamp on Verizon’s listing. It has disappeared from the online store also, which kind of reminds me when Samsung FreeForm III leaves verizon as well. Well, i still have my Samsung FreeForm III unit, and thanks to Samsung FreeForm III Accesssories that i have bought, for it helped in preserving the phone. Anyway, the Samsung Fascinate’s retirement could be an indication that the Samsung Galaxy S II is near its launch.

Samsung is taking a stand, and letting it be known that soon their Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be heading to Australia sometime soon. Even though Apple has made a few attempts to stop all Tab dales through the Aussie Federal Court. But the folks at Samsung remain strong and the Galaxy Tab will be heading to Australia sooner than we originally expected! Keep on reading learn more about the Samsung Dart!
According to Yahoo Korea, Samsung is working on a new device called the Samsung Galaxy Q. The Samsung Galaxy Q is rumored to have a massive 5.3 inch Super AMOLED display, and is said to debut at IFA 2011 in Berlin in September. If the rumor is true, this will certainly bridge the gap between smartphones and tablets. As always, we’ll keep you posted as soon as we get some more information.
Our friends over at Android Central have discovered 4 new smartphones which are headed to Sprint, a well known US Mobile Carrier. They have found references to 4 new devices in the Sprint ID app and the devices listed are the LG Optimus B, The LG Q, The Samsung Chief and the Motorola Sunfire.
It seems that the LG Optimus B referes to the LG Optimus Black, which we reviewed recently, the Motorola Sunfire is reported to be Sprint’s version of the Motorola Photon 4G.
It seems that the LG Q and Samsung Chief were not yet confirmed as to what cellphones they actually are, and it is possible that the LG Q could be the new LG Optimus Slider which has been rumored previously.
As always.. we’ll keep you posted as soon as we get some more information on when these new smartphone will be available with Sprint.
About sometime last week, we saw a leaked document claiming that the Nexus S 4G will be arriving to Sprint on April 18th. The doc shows other announced smartphones that we’ve already heard of, but there is another device too – the Samsung Replenish. Check out Samsung Infuse Accessories! The buzz on the Replenish was that it was just some simple feature phone, but it turns out that the folks at Android Central say different – the Replenish is actually a “green” Android phone. Unfortunately, there’s really not a lot of information other than that. But there is a lot of buzz flying around about this “Replenish”, could this be the phone that has been leaked before? We’ve seen a Samsung-made portait, could the Replenish be it? The doc does point out that an offical press release should be issued on April 15th, so now all we have to do is wait and see. Samsung celebrates its 100 million downloads over its App Store today! Applications include games, mobile and TV aps. The Samung App Store began last June 2010 and as of this writing, it has a total of 13,000+ applications for Samsung users to download onto their Samsung mobile phones and TV’s.
Top downloaders are France users followed by Germany and Spain, with the three countries accounting for 40 percent of the total downloads recorded since it started.
Compared to Apple however, it is no match as Apple already have 10 billion downloads since it has started, with around 350,000 iPhones to choose from.
As part of Samsung’s appreciation, they will be giving away weekly prizes, that include Samsung Galaxy Tabs, Galaxy Players, UBS sticks and vouchers for Samsung Apps for anyone who downloads an app from the Samsung Apps marketplace between March 25 and April 30, 2011.

Samsung Infuse is the brand’s latest phone that is the first to tout “Super AMOLED Plus” technology, featuring a 50 percent boost in sub-pixel count, meaning it has better contrast outdoor readability (in laymans term). It’s probably the best 4.3 incher phone toppling the EVO 4G, Desire HD, and likely the Thunderbolt. It has an 8 megapixel rear camera paired with a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor, and is framed in what seems to be the thinnest case in the World of cellphones. Yeah, the design is sleek but its in black, and if you want other colors, there are lots of Samsung Infuse Cases online. One more thing, since this one employs this so called SUPER AMOLED DISPLAY, its best to put a screen protector on its screen, and to add more life into it, make use of Samsung Infuse Accessories!

Samsung has finally revealed the upcoming release of its Galaxy Tab (WiFi Only) at the CES today. According to them, this hybrid device is slated to land in the U.S. in Q1 this year. This will be huge in the US market for sure, not to mention that we will be among the first to check out the device. Here’s an excerpt of the official press release made by Samsung:
“LAS VEGAS, January 5, 2010 -Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the U.S.1, today announced the WiFi-only Samsung Galaxy Tab™ will be available for purchase in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2011.”

Samsung has planned to sell 10 million copies of its Galaxy S line before the year 2010 closed out, and it may have actually pulled off that feat, despite being at 9.3 million in the middle of December. Quite impressive huh? But that wouldn’t make the Galaxy S Samsung as the fastest-selling phone to the magical 10 million mark. For the record is reserved for the Star , which hit it in just six months.

Hours after Toshiba arranged a deal with Sony to buy the cell chip fabrication facilities, Toshiba seems to be involved in a new deal again. Not with Sony, but with their rival company Samsung. Quite unbelievable isn’t it? It’s true! According to our source, Toshiba made an agreement with Samsung to outsource some of its semiconductors from Samsung. They be working on smartphones and other devices. A wise move or an epic fail move? For me it’s a wise move for these semiconductors are already tested and will sure be an asset to Toshiba.
